Dragon Menpo by TimeTurbine
Dragon Menpo
Pierce work and patina is all that's left. Made from 12ga mild steel for sca combat. It's still pretty rough I'll admit but I was over budget just to get it this far so gotta call it for now, that's just how it is sometimes :P
Still a pretty fun piece, can't wait to see it on the field!

How did you learn metalwork? Do you offer classes?
TimeTurbine Featured By Owner Apr 1, 2014  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
Took basic metal working classes, listened to anyone who would give me advice, looooooots of trial and error. Practice and patience. And as of now no. I don't have the facility nor the expertise...or a large enough portfolio to think about offering classes, But if you'd like I'll keep you in mind if I start teaching folk.
